How to Create a "Content Project" in Propel

"Content Project" in Propel helps you streamline the process of creating PR materials by allowing you to generate AI-powered or manually written pitches and press releases in one organized space.

Here's a video walkthrough of the entire process:



Steps to Create a Content Project in Propel:

  1. Click “Start Project”.

  2. Add the project name and select the related account.
    You can click the “Plus” icon anytime to add contributors to the entire project or individual tasks.

  3. Click “Write Your Pitch”.

  4. You can generate an AI pitch note by selecting the “Propel Standard Voice” or any other voice you’ve set up. You can also create a new voice based on a pitch you've already written.
    1. For an AI pitch note, write your prompt or a short description and click “Generate”.

    2. Click “Save” to save your pitch note.

  5. Alternatively, click the dropdown arrow to manually write the pitch, including the subject line and body.

  6. Click “Go Back to Project Checklist”. The buffering icon will turn into a green checkmark, indicating task completion.

  7. Click “Write Your Press Release”.

  8. You can generate an AI press release or manually write your own. Follow the same steps as “Write Your Pitch”.

That’s it! You’ve successfully created a Content Project, making your PR efforts more streamlined and impactful.

You can click “Convert to A–Z Project” to transform your Content Project into a full PR campaign.
