Why do I see a Propel spinner when sending emails with Outlook?

Why do I see a Propel spinner when sending emails with Outlook, even if I have not connected them to a pitch?

**The latest version of the Outlook add-in no longer includes the spinner. If you are still seeing the spinner, you may remove it by uninstalling and reinstalling the Outlook add-in. Please see these instructions for uninstalling the add-in, and these instructions for installing it again.**
Whenever you click the send button in an email, Propel needs to check if the email you are sending is a pitch or not. The spinner appears while Propel is checking.
An email is considered a pitch if you selected a pitching initiative from the sidebar or if you are replying to an existing pitch. If you are not sending a pitch (you did not select a pitch from the sidebar), nothing further happens, and the email is sent normally as though you did not have Propel. On the other hand, if you have selected a pitch, Propel sees this and adds open tracking and a story funnel card.
