How to Compare Share of Voice for Competitors/Perform Competitor Analysis?

Step-by-Step Procedure

  1. Set Up Alerts for Competitors: Create alerts for competitor brands you'd like to compare. Learn how to create alerts.


  2. Go to Graphs View: In the Media Monitoring tab, switch to the Graphs View to visualize Share of Voice metrics.


  3. Select “Share of Voice”: Use the dropdown to choose Share of Voice as your graph type.


  4. Add Competitor Alerts: Type in the alert names for each competitor to compare.


  5. Analyze the Graph: The graph will display how your brand and competitors are performing over your selected date range.
  6. Group Mentions: Use the “Group Mentions” toggle to remove duplicates and syndications for cleaner data.
  7. Review Table View: Below the graph, you’ll see a breakdown by alert across different time periods (Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days).


  8. Download Report: Export your Share of Voice comparison as a CSV or PDF for sharing and analysis.
