Step-by-step procedure:

  1. Set Up Alerts for Competitors: Before you can compare Share of Voice, ensure you have added alerts for your competitors. For a detailed guide on setting up alerts, please click this link to view the step-by-step tutorial.

  2. Navigate to Graphs View: Go to the Media Monitoring tab, then toggle and switch to the Graphs View. This is where you’ll compare the SOV for your brand and competitors.

  3. Select Share of Voice: Click the drop-down menu and select Share of Voice to display the relevant data.

  4. Add Competitor Alerts: In the Alerts box, type the names of the alerts you’ve created for your competitors. You can add multiple alerts for a more comprehensive comparison.

  5. View Graphs: You’ll now see a graph that compares the number of mentions received by your brand and your competitors over time. Adjust the time range by selecting your preferred period using the Time Filter.
  6. Group Mentions: To remove duplicate syndicated articles and clean up your data, you can enable the Group Mentions option.
  7. Analyze Table Data: Below the graph, you’ll see a table that breaks down the coverage each alert has received. This table displays coverage received Today, over the Last 7 Days, and the Last 30 Days.
  8. Download Report: For easy sharing or analysis, you can download the SOV report as a CSV or PDF file. Just click the Download button and select your preferred format.
