How does contact ownership work in Propel?

In Propel, there is no default contact owner when a journalist is added. You can manually assign an owner at any time. If no manual assignment is made, the most recent person to pitch that journalist automatically becomes the owner. Once ownership is manually assigned, it will remain with that person until changed.
