Propel’s broadcast media monitoring tool helps you track relevant mentions across TV and radio. Follow the steps below to create and configure your broadcast monitoring alerts.

Steps to Create a Broadcast Monitoring Alert:
Navigate to the Monitor Tab: Log in to your Propel account and click on the Monitor tab in the top navigation bar.
Click on the Edit Button: Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the alert you want to add a Broadcast alert to, then select Broadcast.
Create a New Alert: Click on the Plus icon.
Enter Alert Name and Account: Enter a relevant name for your alert in the Alert Name field, and select the related account.
Select the Monitoring Type: In the alert setup interface, click on the Broadcast tab to begin setting up your alert for TV and radio coverage.
Choose Your Markets: Under the Markets section, you will see the markets your account has access to. If you have access to more than one market, you can select one or multiple markets depending on your coverage needs.
Query Setup: In the Query field, specify the keywords or topics you want to track in your selected markets. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search. Note: You don’t need to select a language here—it's already chosen in the earlier step.
Save Your Alert: Once you’ve configured all necessary fields, click Save and Finish to activate your broadcast monitoring alert.
You can always refine or edit your existing alerts by returning to the “Monitor” tab and clicking the Edit icon next to the relevant alert.
For Online and Print monitoring, you can choose to start coverage monitoring from a past date. However, for Broadcast, you only start tracking from the present or a future date.
