How to Use Propel's Gmail Plugin: Sending Options

Propel's Gmail plugin is designed to make your PR tasks more efficient and help you connect with journalists at the right time.

Watch our video guide for a clear, step-by-step explanation:

  1. Follow Up Reminder
Set a reminder to follow up with journalists who haven’t responded to your pitch. Simply specify when you want to be reminded to send a follow-up email. This feature ensures you never miss an opportunity to engage with potential contacts.
  2. PitchBooster
PitchBooster optimizes your outreach by analyzing open and engagement rates. It sends your pitch to journalists at the most effective time for engagement, increasing the likelihood of a response.
  3. Normal Send
The Normal Send option allows you to send emails instantly. This is the go-to choice when you're ready to pitch and want your email to be sent right away. It’s ideal for quick, one-off messages or when timing is critical.
  4. Schedule Send
If you’re not ready to send an email immediately but want to plan it for a later time, the Schedule Send feature within the Normal Send option allows you to select a specific date and time for your email to be sent. This gives you flexibility, ensuring your message reaches the recipient at the optimal moment—even if you’re unavailable at that time.
  5. Send Mail Merge
Need to send a personalized email to multiple recipients at once? With the Send Mail Merge feature, you can create customized emails for each recipient, auto-filling personal details to make your outreach more targeted. This is especially useful for reaching multiple journalists without revealing who else you're pitching.
  6. Schedule Mail Merge
Plan your outreach ahead of time using Schedule Mail Merge. You can set a specific date and time for your emails to go out, ensuring that your pitches are sent even if you’re not available. This option is perfect for coordinating outreach in different time zones or scheduling emails for optimal engagement.
  7. Generate Drafts
If you want to review and personalize each email before sending, Generate Drafts prepares draft versions of your mail merge emails. You can fine-tune the content for each recipient to make your pitch even more impactful.

These options are designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your PR outreach. By leveraging them, you can boost your chances of connecting with the right journalists at the right time.
