Broadcast Monitoring in Propel

Propel’s broadcast media monitoring tool helps you track relevant mentions across TV and radio. Follow the steps below to create and configure your broadcast monitoring alerts.

Here's a video walkthrough of the entire process:

Steps to Create a Broadcast Monitoring Alert:

  5. Select the Monitoring Type: In the alert setup interface, click on the Broadcast tab to begin setting up your alert for TV and radio coverage.
  6. Choose Your Markets: Under the Markets section you will be able to see the markets that your account has access to. If you have access to more than one market you can select one or multiple markets, depending on your coverage needs.
  7. Query Setup: In the Query field, specify the keywords or topics you want to track in your selected markets. Similar to other alert types, you can use Boolean operators to refine your search except language since you've already selected that in the above step.
  8. Save Your Alert: Once you’ve configured the necessary fields, click Save and Finish to activate your broadcast monitoring alert.

You can always refine or edit your existing alerts by returning to the “Monitor” tab and clicking the Edit icon next to the relevant alert.

Please note that for Online and Print monitoring, you can choose to start coverage monitoring from a past date. However, for Social and Broadcast, you only start tracking from the present or a future date.
